The RheingauLinie and IC trains of the Deutsche Bahn links Rüdesheim, Assmanshausen, Kaub, St. Goarhausen and Braubach with Koblenz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main main train stations. Trains are running on a hourly basis.
From direction Frankfurt take the A66 to Wiesbaden, then turn on to the Federal road B42 to Eltville in the direction Rüdesheim am Rhein. Coming from Koblenz on the right side of the Rhine take the B42 to St. Goarshausen and follow the signage in direction Rüdesheim am Rhein.
The international airport is only 40min by car ride away, simply take the A3 and A66 to Wiesbaden. Turn on to the B42 to Rüdesheim and follow the signage to the city center.

The roman castle Saalburg - a trip into Roman times. In this museum, you travel 2,000 years back in time.
