    Why Go There?

With one of the most well-preserved old towns in Schleswig-Holstein, Mölln is a true hidden gem in this beautiful region of Germany.

Mölln, also known as Eulenspiegel City, is proud to have been the home of the famous jester Till Eulenspiegel from German folklore during last years of his life- you can even find his alleged grave here! But Eulenspiegel isn't the oldest story to be told in Eulenspiegel... there is colossal evidence of the last ice age to be found here as well. Go to the Wildpark and climb on these giant boulders, or just stand by them in wonder.

In the idyllic, quaint city center, you will find the second oldest town hall in all of Schleswig-Holstein built in the Gothic style in 1373. Take a walk around the beautiful Nicolai church on the historical Marktplatz for some of the best views and scenes of the city. Take advantage of the public tours leaving every Saturday at 14:30 from the Eulenspiegel fountain on Marktplatz. An experienced tour guide will tell you all about Mölln's great sights like the Nicolai Church, market square, Hauptstrasse (main street), and the beautiful Kur Park.
