Xanten is accessible via Duisburg Hbf (Duisburg main station). From there, drives the 'NordWestBahn' (a regional train) and brings you directly to the railway station of Xanten, continue to the Hay hotel Moerenhof by taxi.
Xanten is located near the highway A 57. Take the exit 5 (Sonsbeck) or 6 (Alpen).
The nearest airport to Xanten is Dusseldorf (journey time by car 45 minutes). Or take the 'eurobahn' to Duisburg and from there the 'NordWestBahn' to Xanten (journey time 1 hour). The airport Weeze (Ryanair hub) is the second airport near Xanten (journey time by car 30 minutes, by train 1,5 h).
