Start your hike at the train station, follow the road through the pedestrian - and cyclist tunnel towards Fürstenwalde North. Continue on Trebuser Straße till you reach Hegelstraße. Here you walk past the only Catholic high school in the State of Brandenburg. Turn left here and after about 500m you will reach Vogelweg (birds way), continue on this street and you will reach the crossing. The Amselweg (blackbird way) leads straight to the "Pfälzer Wiesen" (Palatine meadows), if you turn left here, you get to the beautifully located Trebuser Lake.
The excellent spot to take a rest, refresh yourself in the lake, take a swim or give your busy mind a break while fishing. Continue along the signposted hiking trail on the South shore of Lake till you reach Trebus. Back on the north shore of the Lake, continue straight on at the Amselweg to its confluence with Birkenweg (birch way). The Birkenweg and the Schellingstraße (road) will lead you through the settlement area up to the Hegelstraße and walk along the Trebuser Straße back to the train station.
