From Stralsund main stration you can use the Regional-Express (RE) to Ribnitz-Damgarten West directly. From there you have to take bus 210 to the station Born Waldschänke. Then it is just a few minutes to walk.

The National Park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft is the largest national park in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommerny. The park offers a diversified lagoon landscape with a very varied flora and fauna.
About half of the area of the park is open Baltic Sea. From the peninsula Darß-Zingst up to the west coast of Rügen extends a landscape of cliffs and dunes, spits and beach lakes, which appeals to beach vacationer as well as forest lovers.
