The fastest and easiest way to reach the lake by public transport from all directions is by train. Stopping at the S Bahn station Berlin-Messe Nord ICC (Witzleben) its leaves you with 1,3 KM of walking distance (approx. 15 min). The lines that stop at this station are S41, S42, S45, S46.
The Lietzensee is located very centrally in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It is best accessible from Witzlebenplatz. Due to its city center location parking is not easy, and may request a bit of walking as the parking spots really close to the lake are gone really quicky. Especially on sunny days.
