Approach the Märchenwald with the train to Bad Harzburg and from there simply take the bus 873 to "Harzburg Märchenwald".
The highway A395 from Braunschweig brings you in only 35 minutes to Bad Harzburg. From Hannover you can approach the fairytale forest via the A7.
