      The Deutsche Bahn trains are approaching on a daily basis the train station Rövershagen from Rostock main train station. This is a 10 minute ride with the train, from there a 4 minute ride with the car.

      Take the A19 to Rostock, when you get to 6-Rostock-Ost take the exit B105 to Ribnitz-Damgarten/ Stralsund. Follow the B105 to Purkshof in Rövershagen the Karls Erlebnis-Dorf is on your left hand side.

On the farmers market, are many open show manufactories, such as for sweets, soap Kitchen or jam. Another spectacular place to explore is the farm kitchen, which is a 20 meter long show cooking area, with season dishes.

    Every Sunday is a delicious Brunch offered in the "Festscheune" (party barn) which is a must for everyone who´s nearby. The barn can also be rent for special occasions like birthday parties for children. "Karls Erdbeerhof" maintains favorable offers for the whole family and cordially invites to a fun-filled trip to an amusement park Roevershagen right at the gates of the Hanseatic city of Rostock.

    Tip for groups: Take advantage of the gaming world for a day trip. The experience village is one of the most beautiful destinations in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with or without children and definitely worth the trip.

    "Seebad Warnermünde" is only 20 minutes away with the car. It is located right by the sea, where the little river Warnow flows into the Baltic Sea. In Summer, the beach invites for a relaxing time by the water, with a great holiday feeling. The countless attractions such as the lighthouse give the place its unique appeal. A stroll along the beach promenade is worth every season.


    "Kulturhistorisches Museum Rostock" is a museum only 15 minutes away with the car. The Monastery of the Holy Cross is a former Cistercian monastery, founded in 1270. It houses the Museum of Cultural History in Rostock with its permanent and temporary exhibitions. The museum presents, archaeological finds, medievally sacred art, toys, furniture, coins and documents of the nearly 800-year history of Rostock.


    In the middle of the city Rostock and only 15 minutes away with the car, there extends nearly 8 hectares of botanical gardens. 10,000 different plant species are growing and thriving here. Next to the arboretum, a collection of exotic trees and shrubs, the Japanese garden and the rose garden, there are other exotic plants, which can be discovered. It is not only a place of recreation, but also for research.
