From Mannheim Hauptbahnhof (Mannheim Main Station) which is accessible easily via the ICE network from all over Germany take the urban railway (S-Bahn) S1 or S2 and exit at "Haßloch" station. From here take the shuttle bus. Combi tickets (train and entrance fee) are available.
Use the highway A61 and take the exit "Speyer". Take the "B 9" and after about 1 km the "B 39" heading to Neustadt/Weinstraße. Follow the "Holiday-Park" signposts. A large parking lot is off base. Parking fee (status: 2013) is 5 Euro per day and per car.
There's a shuttle bus which goes regularly between the train station "Haßloch (Pfalz)" and the entrance gate of the Holiday-Park. If you have a train ticket to "Haßloch (Pfalz)" the shuttle bus is already included which means that there's no need to buy a bus ticket.

The Holiday-Park in Haßloch brings fun and amusement for small and large people. Located close to the "Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar" makes the location particularly interesting and attractive.
The Holiday-Park in Hassloch is an amusement park for all ages. Originally founded and drafted as a "fairytale park", it was regenerated piece by piece into an amusement park, starting in the 1970s. While doing so, the area grew from around 70.000 square meters to more than 400.000 square meters.
Main attractions are "BigFM Operation GeForce" (one of the largest rollercoasters in Europe), the "Superwirbel" (a "corkscrew" rollercoaster), the 70 meter high "Anubis Freefall Tower" as well as the "Lighthouse Tower", a chairoplane which is 80 meters high. With a downward slope of 82 degrees at the beginning and a 74 degreed gyration at the same time the "BigFM Operation GeForce" was Germany's steepest roller coaster for a long time.
But it's far away from "adults only" - the kids get their (resp. their parents') money worth indeed! E. g. "Hollys Kinderland" (Holly's children land), "Donnerfluss" (River of Thunder), "Bounty Tower" or for toddlers e. g. "Bienchenwirbel" (little bee's curl), "Pferdekarussell" (Horse caroussel) or "Laras Marienkäferflug" (Lara's ladybug flight).
There are many shows which are distributed over the entire park, e. g. "Festival der Tiere" (Animals Festival) or the Waterski stunt show "Hollywood Spectacular".
It's no problem to rest here for a couple of days - if you want to do this, you'll find a huge number of hotels and pensions of all levels of prices directly nearby.
