    Every year visitors of all ages come to the Christmas market in Straubing to enjoy its festive atmosphere of bright lights and pine aroma, enchanted tempting treats and atmospheric concerts.

    Straubing's 'Theresien- and Ludwigsplatz' are the beaming setting for Straubing's Christmas Market. On Ludwigsplatz there are 100 lovingly decorated and lit Christmas trees. It maybe a small Christmas market, but around 35 stalls at this a charming and warm market with the Christmas spirit filled in the air.  The enormous Advent calendar on the front of a grand town house is a marvellous sight and must be seen. Next to all of that the market has to offer, from food, mulled wines, toys and gifts, it has lots of attractions just for kids; children's bakery, puppet theater and visits from Nicholas.
