      Bonn main station (Bonn Hauptbahnhof) is the nearest train station to the Christmas market, only 6 minutes walking distance. The station is daily reached by trains from the Deutsche Bahn.

    The Christmas market present a varied range of goods, such as christmas candies and sweets, gingerbread and mulled wine (Glühwein). Wonderful souvenirs, gifts, delicious food and different drinks are offered.     In 1770, Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn as the son of a family of musicians. His house of birth is a museum today (Bonngasse No. 20).
