How To Get To The Extavium Potsdam

By Air

There are frequent flights to both Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld from the UK. Both airports are within easy reach of the Extavium with excellent public transport links.

By Train

From Berlin Tegel airport it is a nine minute walk to the train station Flughafen Tegel (Airport). A train to Berlin-Charlottenburg runs every 10 minutes on line number 109 and the journey time is 17 minutes. From Berlin-Charlottenburg take the regional express to Potsdam Medienstadt Babelsberg and this take 12 minutes. The Extavium is just over 900 metres from the station and is well signposted.

By Road

If you are driving leave Tegel airport by the A111 and then change to the A100 and A115/E52 towards Fritz-Zubell-Strabe in Potsdam. Follow signs for the Extavium. The journey time is 25 minutes if the traffic is light.

A Trip Around The Lakes By Boat

Departing from Lange Brücke you can take a ship tour of the lakes around Potsdam. There are a variety of cruises including one that covers seven lakes and one that lasts 90 minutes. The longest cruise is a three hour trip around the Havel Lakes.

Sightseeing In Potsdam

Just 15 minutes away from the Extavium is the Bornstedt Crown Estate, a fine example of Prussian history. Dating back to 1350, this is now a UNESCO world heritage site and many events are staged there. Festivals and markets are held on certain dates and the Sanssouci Palace is only 400 metres from the estate.
