Travelling To Auerbach Castle

By Air

Flying into the Frankfurt main airport is the easiest way to get to Auerbach Castle. The distance is just over 46 kilometres and by car it takes about half an hour. There is a train directly from the airport to the main station at Frankfurt and then a regional train is available to Auerbach.

By Train

Booking through Deutsche Bahn you can get a main line train from Frankfurt and then a regional train to Auerbach Castle. The journey time is one and half hours and trains run regularly at half hourly intervals.

By Road

From Frankfurt you take the A5 highway and turn off at the exit marked Zwingenberg which takes you towards Bensheim town. Alternatively you can use the A6 to Karlsruhe and take exit 659. Auerbach Castle is well signposted.
