How To Reach Münster

Münster-Osnabrück (FMO) is the nearest International airport and there are several methods of transport that will get you to the city from all over Germany but from the airport you must take a bus or taxi as there is no train link.

By Train

Münster has a railway station in the centre of the city and there are plenty of connections with trains to other cities in Germany and Europe. A train journey from Berlin takes around three and half hours and travelling from Hamburg or Cologne takes about two hours.

By Road

By road you take the A1 motorway and then the A43 which takes you to the city where there are plenty of parking facilities that are well advertised before you reach the centre. Hotels will also provide information about parking. Long distance buses using Fernbus travel go to Münster from a variety of German cities.

If you are paying a visit to Münster during December you can see the famous Christmas market which sells an amazing array of treasures.
